Halloween ist noch eeetwas hin, ich weiß! Aber ich wollte euch dieses tolle Bild von Mo Manning doch schon einmal zeigen. Den Hintergrund habe ich in Aquarelltechnik nach einem Video Tutorial von Kit and Clowder gemacht das ich auf youtube gefunden habe.

Coloriert habe ich „Nosferatmew„, das ist der Name dieser coolen Katze, mit meinen Touch Twin Brush Markern. Leider habe ich keine Liste der verwendeten Marker gemacht, da ich das Motiv just for fun coloriert habe. Ich weiß noch das ich auf der Umhang Außenseite mit meinen Cool Grey Markern und nur in den dunkelsten Schatten mit schwarz gearbeitet habe. Die Umhang Innenseite habe ich mit einem hellen rot und einem Mittelton rot gemacht. Die vielen Falten sind bereits von der Künstlerin eingezeichnet bzw. angedeutet, so das man gut erkennen kann wo sich die dunkelsten Bereiche befinden.
I’ve coloured „Nosferatmew“ (thats the Name of this cool cat) with my Touch Twin Brush Markers. Sorry, I don’t had made a list with the marker I used, because I had coloured only for fun! But I know that I used on the outside of the coat a lots of my cool grey marker and only a bit with the black marker in the darkest shadows. On the coatinside there are only one light and one dark red. The image have a lots of designer lines and folds so you can see the darkest points very good.
Als Papier habe ich Color Copy 200 g/m² verwendet, damit ich mit meinen Alkoholmarkern die Coloration machen konnte. Auf der Suche nach einem echten Hingucker für den Hintergrund bin ich bei YouTube auf ein Video Tutorial von Kit and Clowder gestoßen in dem Alyce mit Aquarellfarben ein Copic Motiv mit einem Hintergrund versieht. Boah…cool… hätte nicht gedacht dass dass möglich ist ! Verwendet habe ich dafür Distress Ink Pads die ich mir auf ein Stück Plastik gestempelt habe und dann die Farbe mit dem Pinsel und etwas Wasser aufgenommen hab. Nach dem trocknen habe ich das Bild zwischen 2 trockenen Geschirrtüchern, vorsichtig von hinten gebügelt (nicht auf volle Hitze!) damit es wieder glatt wurde!

I had coloured the image on alcoholmarker friendly paper named „ColorCopy“. And as I’m searching for a background idea I was very happy as I found on youtube the video tutorial „Watercolour backgrounds on copic coloured images“ from kit and clowder. I can’t believe that watercolouring will works on no-watercolourpaper! But here you can see it!
